New Semester, How Was Last?

Yeah I NEVER update. Christmas went fine, btw. Blah blah blah. Life begins again. Here's my general reflection on last semester.

The addition of the English class that wanted me to video certainly set my work in front of me. I had to complete two video projects. Wow.

First was my video and audio production final projects. I had to record a song and master it meanwhile write a music video and shoot it. For that I recorded a Christian Metal band (no, I know, that doesn't make sense to me either). They were God awful (pun intended) so I decided I would make a dub remix of the material. I did so on Pro-Tools and the final result was pretty good. Despite the fact that my teacher hated techno he graded me pretty well. As for the music video, that was an experimental shoot that went well too. I'll post when its up on YouTube. Other than that, went well.

I also had to do a video on how to do your own oil change. It went just alright. I'll post that when it's uploaded too.

There was another class called Presentation Techniques. It was pretty useless, though I did make a great 25 minute presentation on Japanese vending. That's right, 25 minutes and everyone told me it felt like less because the liked it. Heck, yeah! So yeah, that's about it.

Broken Car Adventure

Casino Royale
So this happened 2-3 weeks ago. Yeah, I know I don't update anymore! Now let's see if I can remember the details. This epic event went down like this.

Scott's car was broken and he needed to get down to NEIT to register for classes. He decided he was gonna do it simultaneous with his programming classmates so they could get in the same classes. So, 25+ miles later we arrived.

We all met in the lounge and headed all the way down the campus to the Greenwood building, where as I expected, we were greeted by bureaucrats who didn't have the proper paperwork and promptly told us to GTFO. So we trotted to the Student Advisory Building. They could help us either. We went back to the lounge and got out our laptops and decided to download the class requirements and do it ourselves. I wasn't in their program, I was just helping Scott, so I didn't have to do anything. But then I realized it was the first time they were doing online scheduling ever. I decided to aid them in scheduling classes. 30 minutes later they were mostly all set. I decided that while they were finishing I was going to finish off my schedule for DRA as well. Later I found out that I was declared to be "the Sage" by Scott's friends for my epic scheduling skills.

So more than another 35+ miles later, we went up to North Attleboro in Mass. I had to return a movie to my second place of employment, MovieStop, and then I picked up Black Lagoon. (Great show, btw, I bought it later). After that we left to stop at the new Super Walmart. When we left, this is where the fun truly began. My car had been having trouble starting and guess what? It didn't start. At all. So we decided to call Scott's dad over to see if he could help. Meanwhile, we stopped over at Best Buy to look at some stuff while we awaited his arrival. Scott picked up Dragon Age for PC. I looked for Final Draft but couldn't find it.

We got back to the parking lot at Super Walmart and Scott's dad arrived. He couldn't jump the car so we called AAA. The tow-truck would take around an hour so we decided to go back into Walmart and shopped around, and eventually picked up our dinner, some pre-prepared sandwiches. They were actually pretty awesome. And so we chilled in the car and the guy arrived. He decided to do some tests on the car before towing it. His last idea was to jump the car with his massive engine since it puts out more energy. That car started. But it was clear that we needed a new battery (blue corrosive all over the battery contacts) so we thanked the tow and left for Sears.

We got there and left the car on, check the model battery we needed and went inside and down an escalator to the car parts section. Then we quickly realized we needed more info, ran back upstais and checked the car again (still on). THen we had our battery info. The only battery they had that would fit properly was a supder-duper one, a DieCast Gold battery, which costs 30 more than the other kind. Great, so I dropped $126 on my credit card and we left. 18+ miles later, we got to Scott's house.

First we needed a break so we installed Dragon Age on both computers. I played Assassin's Creed 2. Then after some resting time, we got back to work. We replaced the battery using some barbaric methods and jumped it, and decided to leave it running to charge it. 1hr later after some more gaming, we decided to turn it off and try starting it again. It started once, but didn't later. So we decided to charge it more and go on a drive like you're supposed to. So after a little while letting it sit, we took off and decided to drive down to Warwick and back again. Yeah, so 60+ miles later and a techno album or two, we were back. The car started, or so it seemed. We did some more gaming and then I went home.

[As for the next day it worked on the way to school and then to work and it died there. Parents had to jump it and bring it to the shop to repair. It needed a starter. And the new battery helped. ]

Yeah, fun times. Indeed.

End of Quarter 8

Casino Royale
Just had my last exam, wow, today was an eventful one. In summary of my classes this semester:

Virtual Studio- We learned a whopping 10% more about chroma keying and filmed a PSA and a newscast which probably won't even live up to public access's standards. Okay I lied, everything is up to public access standards.

Broadcast Pre-Production- Watched music vidoes. Talked about music videos. Did pre production for a music video.

Multi-track Recording- Recorded a lame Christian Hardcore Metal band and decided I will not be using their song for my music video so I'm giving the song a house remix treatment. The class itself is the best of Jamie's yet. Learned much about what I want to know, especially regarding MIDI.

Remote Production- Even though it's remote production, we used remote production equipment inside the studio to film a panel show and an acoustic performance. The former was fail, the latter was win. This was one of the best Murney classes yet.

And how did today in particular go? Something like this:

Got up late and headed for Canton, MA at around 12 to be there by 12:45. Remote Production class was going to a place called "High Output Lighting" for a field trip, though we all had to get there ourselves. Including me and the teacher, only 6 people showed up. Okay. Well either way, the tour was great, they had an amazing studio and tons and tons of equipment.

After that I had to go all the way from Canton to Warwick, which was, in case you don't know, a very very long trip. For a while as I was driving I actually ended up being tailed by Mr. Murney himself. Hah. Finally got to school and chatted with a couple of classmates. After that I decided to hear up to 233 to tweak my remix a little more. Couldn't stay very long because a group that actually had class needed the booth. So I ended that part of the day doing a brief amount of studying for Japanese class and a visit to TVTropes.org to pass the time.

Japanese class came. It was a brief presentation on Japanese food, followed by a teacher evaluation, and then the exam. The exam was a full curriculum test so it went way better than I though it would (I didn't know much from the last two chapters). So yeah, the plan was after the exam the teacher and whoever wanted to go, would go to the Hibachi and Sushi restaurant nearby as a celebration.

Me and three other guys went. Philips-sensei said he'd catch up to us and he did. It was fun eating with my fave classmates and the teacher. Two of the guys ordered sushi plates, one got just appetizers, and me and the teach got Hibachi chicken. The chef was pretty rad. I also got something called a Saketini. It's exactly what it sounds like. It was a vodka martini with sake instead of vermouth. Yum. We also got baked ice cream because the staff somehow got wind that we were celebrating... something. They first thought it was a birthday, then a graduation party, then we told them it was just a semester end. They still brought us the desert for free anyway. Hahaha. So after a fun night we all went home.

Did I mention I did 100 miles worth of driving today? Yeah. I feel like Jason Statham.

-Got a second job and am now working at both MovieStop very part time and Dunkin for part time. It makes me feel better about myself by being between two jobs, that way one or the other can't drive me crazy. Still need to eventually start working in my actual field, however the hell I'm supposed to pull that off...

-Doing much better in Japanese class. Didn't have to stay today because less that 1/4th of the class showed up, so we were let off early with extra credit. Didn't think I'd really get along with most of the class but, hanging with Richard and Mike P is cool. So it's all good.

-Feel like I'm falling behind on Virtual Studio as far as doing the work goes. I also just realized I've fallen VERY far behind on my pre-production work. I'm on time with multi-track work and figured out how to use pro-tools to develop some electronic stuff, which is good news. And remote productions class is in the bag.

-Scott moved into his new house, it's pretty decent. It's gonna take some getting used to, but it's nice.

Gman's Wonderful Time
Was the most fun I had had in a long time and I sincerely needed it. I arrived relatively early, being nearly the first there. Upon arrival we went into her house for a little bit where I saw the present I had sent her via Amazon. A case of chips. 42 1oz bags of Herr's Ketchup Flavored Potato Chips. And yes, it's completely awesome. We spent a little while on her deck munching on all sorts of chips including the aforementioned and more people showed up, jumping into the pool. I decided to wait to eat first, which was.... a dumb decision but yeah I made it.

As per usual I overate with the snacks, the two burgers and a hotdog. But meh, I could handle it. So I got changed and went into the pool for a while. I hadn't been swimming in quite a while. We played a lame game of volleyball and of course mad a whirlpool while Zack shot water at us. I was giggling like a schoolgirl the entire time. =D

By the time we got out it was already getting pretty dark out. We were all gonna hang out inside but it was waaaaay too warm inside. I spent a little bit of time talking to people in there but spent the rest of the day outside talking to Jerry and Andy and other people and eating even moar snacks. I left when it was pretty late. But it was definitely one of the better days I had had.

This Would Have Been A Great Date

  • Jul. 28th, 2009 at 12:42 AM
Casino Royale
Too bad this wasn't a date. I went to the movies by myself. Alone. Solo.

I packed my satchel full of goodies and went over to my local CinemaWorld at Lincoln Mall to go see Harry Potter 6. It was good, decent. I ALMOST had the whole entire room to myself but at the last minute another guy walked in, and then a separate quartet of people.

I decided a little spontaneity would be fun. Instead of going home after the movie, I decided to dive into other screens to check them out. Security was lame (in fact I don't think there were actually any more employees there at that point), so why the heck not?

Jumped into "I Love You Beth Cooper" and didn't bother to sit down. I also checked out "My Sister's Keeper" to confirm it was both girly, depressing, and utterly boring, which it was because I couldn't even sit there for an entire scene. Then I walked into "The Ugly Truth", mainly because the cinema was blasting Flo Rida's 'Right Round'. It was the credits so I didn't stick around there either. Then I thought, why not jump into the middle of something brainless? Transformers 2!

I didn't plan on staying as long as I did but I sat down in the lower section and the next thing I know I've watched a good 45 minutes of it. It was pretty stupid and effects-y, much like any Michael Bay film, so it was exactly what I expected. I eventually walked out when the characters started going after what had to be the third or fourth plot coupon MacGuffin since I sat down. So, I finally left after walking around and observing movie posters.

Also on the way home there were traffic cones in the middle of the street EVERYWHERE in my neighborhood. When I got closer to home all of them on one street had been knocked down (probably on purpose) and were all over the road, so dodging toppled cones on a dark street was fun. No seriously, it was.

But all this time I thought to myself, if only this had been a date. If only I had a girl with me. If only I had her with me, it would have been that much better.

I tried to post hyperlink pics on it but LJ is being a pain in the dick so it's gonna be just text. Maybe I'll try again later. Anyway that's it, school's meh and work is fine.

Six Flags Once Again

  • Jun. 12th, 2009 at 6:13 PM
Gman's Wonderful Time
So guys! I went to Six Flags for the first time in a very long time! I rode a rollercoaster for the first time in 12 years give or take. So let's see....

Day started at 730 when I got up to go to Nicolle's house (it was her birthday), got there a little after 830. The crew was me, Nicolle, Keith (her BF), and Erin. We decided to leave a little later, using my car so everyone else pitched in for gas. The was a dunkin right next to the gas station so that was breakfast.

One long ride and 1 Shinichi Osawa album later, we arrived. Wooooo! It was sortof cold out and the parking lot was near empty. Due to less than desirable weather the park had very little crowding whatsoever. I told them I'd go on a rollercoaster, AT LEAST the fun and small wooden one. Little did I realize the first coaster they went on was Cyclone, which according to everyone else is the SECOND scariest coaster next to Superman. But... I went on.

So here's what happened. I though I'd be silent and get all tenses up during the ride. False. Here's what happened, I screamed like a schoolgirl at the top of my lungs, closed my eyes, and gripped the harness for dear life on EVERY drop. Even the small ones. Holy crap. It was quite the rush but I wasn't sure whether I enjoyed it or not. Oh well. After blessing whatever to be on land again, we went to the caged sky-ride to get back to the central plaza of the park.

Next was bumper cars in Crackaxle Canyon. It was fun mainly because, like every other ride, there was no wait. The only downside is they force you to go in a circle, it wasn't a free for all bumper ride. After that we headed up a hill for the Houdini ride. I decided to do some sort of pseudo dont-step-on-the-crack game and step only on the "hoof" imprints on the path. Needless to say I looked crazy. The Houdini ride was weird, after a quick preshow you sit in a set of chairs the appear to be swinging... until suddenly you're upside down... OR ARE YOU? Fun illusion ride, I'd go on it again.

Next was the area with Scream! (tower ride) and Thunderbolt (other wooden rollercoaster). Me and Nicolle rode Thunderbolt while Erin and Keith went on Scream! The same results as Cyclone ensued.

After that we moved to the DC comics part of the park. I decided to sit out on Bizarro (formerly known as the Superman), if the drop scared me THAT much on the wooden coaster then Bizarro would have kicked my ass. So yeah, while they were on, I decided
to check out some of the gift shops. It was all funtime superhero memorabilia for hefty pricetags. I walked out and spotted something cool. A golf pitching green. Basically you had to pitch the ball as close to the hole as you can. So I paid up for two golf balls. I was having trouble lining up my first swing so the guy gave me swinging advice. And guess what? I got the ball inside the circle on the first shot. The second shot was awful. The guy checked the first shot to confirm it was in, and it was. I won a really long-ass blue stuffed snake. His name is Snakey. I wore it like a scarf for the rest of the day.

After waiting around for them to get off Bizarro, they told me they had purchased a temp locker for their stuff because I wasn't around. So they wanted to ride Bizarro again to get their money's worth. So I went off and attempted a grabber game in the "Lex Luthor Arcade". Seeing if my luck was still holding, I attempted to grab an iPod nano. I failed. Afterwords we went into the Hall of Justice and talked to a couple of super-heroes. Honestly, I think comic-con would have better cosplayers, but oh well. We had our picture taken and they told us to find and stump the Riddler with out own riddle.

After that we moved on towards the south end of the park and cut through the Wiggles World section. There we rode the antique cars ride just for kicks. I drove a car with Erin in the back and talked like a faux-brit from the 1940s for the entire ride. She took a video of it. I'll post that when I get it. After that we spotted a candy store and bought a decent amount of bulk candy. Fun fun fun. Following that, we went to the south end. I decided to sit out on Mind Eraser and Dark Knight. While they were on mind eraser I went to the "Guess Your Weight" game. The guy working it guessed I weighed 168. HA. Prize please. I picked a pink flamingo and gave it to Erin when she got off of Mind Eraser.

So after waiting for them to get off of Dark Knight, we decided to get some food in the DC Comics area, and headed for the Johnny Rockets. The food was alright. Immediately after getting my food, I spotted the Riddler outside of the restaurant, shouted that I found him, and ran outside. I asked him "When you have it, you want to share it. If you share it, you no longer have it." The answer was a secret. I didn't get a prize for stumping him. His riddle was "What is so delicate that a single word breaks it." The answer was Silence. I missed that one. D'oh! So back to food, we relaxed and decided we weren't going to do that much more before leaving.

On the way back to the north end, one of the game guy's said, "OH MY GOD, THERE'S A SNAKE ON YOUR NECK! GET IT! GET IT!" Ahahah. Erin went to have a caricature taken while Nicolle and Keith chilled on a bench. I did mostly a lot of this during that time:
-Teased Erin about how bad the caricature was gonna be (and how bad it turned out).
-Went to the gift shop and got a double-shot glass that was on sale.
-Checked out a goofy hat shop, they didn't have flat-caps.
-Had erin take a pic of my head inside a sharks mouth

After that it was near closing time. We grabbed some Dippin Dots and left the park. I finished by the time I sat down in the car. It was a quiet trip home, Nicolle and Erin sleeping, me trying to sleep, Keith driving. We only stopped once at a rest stop on the Mass Pike. We finally got home later but the day was NOT over yet.

At Nicolle's house we played a rigorous game of Apples to Apples for a very, very long time. I ended up winning, and it was pretty dark out when we finished. After that we were hungry again and headed for a place called "Tokyo Restaurant" on Wickenden Street, where I ate some Pork Yaki Soba. It's a pretty decent japanese restaurant. After that it was pretty late out. We hung out at Nicolle's house for a while longer before everyone eventually left for home. Oh yeah, it was a great day.

So after several calls, one very very short inteview, and another set of several calls, I'm working tomorrow. Where? Dunkin Donuts! WOOOHOOOO. But this one's a different one. It's on a rest stop on the I-295 Northbound, there's a Baskin Robbins there, the police station, and some bike path. The best part ever about this Dunkin is that there's NO DRIVE THRU. Fuck yeah, Drive thru blows anyway. Granted, the day will move slower, but there will be way less stress. I'll also have to do more tasks since it's less staffed, but customer flow is slow and I'm working 2nd shift, where less people require their coffee, so it's all good now!

Crystal Method LIVE

  • May. 7th, 2009 at 5:58 PM
Me | Cartoon
So after a long time I finally got to go see the Crystal Method perform live. It was the first leg of their tour, the first show of their tour, and the first time they did a live performance in 5 years. So how was it? Well, it was good and bad:

My train was an hour and a half late. I got there late for the opener but I still made it. I was so excited.

The opener, DJ Melee was a decent house DJ. Sub-woof was massive so I was glad I brought ear-plugs. Soon enough, he stopped spinning and TCM came on right away. They had excellent energy during their opening and throughout most of the show, their first song was a long jam. Their other new song "Double Down Under" also made me hardcore dance/march. They played some their best tunes in the traditional electronic music concert style. By combining them. It was pretty sweet.

Apparently, they fucked up their song "High Roller" because Scott K (one of the bandmates) actually apologized for not having toured in 5 years, and that they were appreciative of us being an amazing audience. I didn't notice they had screwed up, but I was guessing that they fell behind their drum kit or something.

Later on it seemed Scott K. got more and more plastered. While Ken was pretty lax the whole time, Scott was jumping around, playing two things at once (quite entertainingly) and generally being the only person to address the audience:
-During the show he said that he left the concert to watch the game and came back because he's an asshole (he didn't leave). Then he shouted "Yankees suck!"
-He also apparently couldn't hear himself and had a stage hand rush in and put in another monitor under his synth.
-He mouthed a lot of the voice-samples.
-Also, and most crazily, towards the end of the show broke TWO keyboards. They were Nord Lead 2Xs, each worth $1500 as I later found out. The first was an accident, the synth fell off his table and whipped against the stage (it was still plugged in). Then he started shouting at his own keyboard and tried to re-plug it in but it didn't work. So the stage hands brought in another but something was wrong with that one too so he near-intentionally knocked that one off too. At the end he announced "Who knew the fucking keyboard would fall OFF the table?" Yeah, definitely plastered.

So fun enough after the show, I asked the Merch guy what he thought happened and he said "Why don't you ask him yourself?" Why did he say that? Because Scott was approaching the Merch stand to apparently buy Tee's for the VIP ticket-holders or something. So of course I was flabbergasted but after that passed I approached him, shook his hand and he was all cool about it, so that was nice. I didn't have a pen or anything to write on so, no autograph.

Besides the train wreck at the end of the show, it was actually pretty amazing. I'm glad I finally got to see them and I'd see them again definitely. Perhaps NOT on their very first show after a long break from performing.

Kurt's Spectacular Day

Gman's Wonderful Time
Okay so here's how everything went:

630ish is when this very long day started. I went to school for my brand new 745 class. Radio III! Yeah, yawn. Same shit, new project. We didn't learn anything new, we just have to do a project and I'm the technical director, which is my favorite task. So it should be a decent if tolerable 5-week class. I left early though, for I had epic plans. I departed at 1045ish to get to Scott's house in time.

I was going on a semi-blind date. My friend Scott met a girl on OkCupid (Carolyn), and they were gonna meet up in Boston. But she wanted to bring her other single friend too (Jess). SO! Double-date! Yeah that's right bitches! And believe it or not, it was scott's first date, and my first spontenaity date. We took the train to Boston, which was an enjoyable experience, I haven't been on the MTBA in a long long time. So yeah, we departed at 1205 and got there roughly 50 minutes later.

We met them at the train station and I left it to me to break the ice and say hi to both of them. So anyway, Scott and Carolyn walked ahead as me and Jess fell behind a little and chatted ourselves. Somehow I hit it off immediately and was mad comfortable talking to her. So our big date was to take place at Jillian's/Lucky Strike Bowling, where Scott works because he could get us a free bowling game and pool game. We started off with bowling. By the way, the place was PIMPIN.

I sucked at first, I bowled 4 straight zeros in my first 4 frames. Scott was showing me technique and i eventually got better and even got 2nd place on our second game (because no one was gonna beat Scott). The girls both bowled with relatively the same skill although Jess did better in the first round. I was so happy at how much I improved from start to finish.

Next up was Quiznos. We hiked a bit and my feet were killing me because I was wearing dress shoes (which I got complimented on by Jess, cuz I'm ace). But we made it and I had one of those new $4 Torpedos they're advertising. Not bad for a freaking breadstick/sandwich.

So we trekked back and next was a large pool session. First few games were me and Jess vs Scott and Carolyn, then we did guys vs. girls. We played for quite some time and the team I was on for both sets won most of the rounds.

After that it got rather late and we all booked pretty fast to the station. I had to do a faux jog to keep the shoes from hurting while I chatted with Jess some more. So we go there just in time and had to depart immediately so I hugged Jess and gave her a departure quickie kiss (touched my fingers to my lips and then pressed my fingers on hers). She thought it was cute. Then we BOOKED IT down the stairs, assuming we'd miss out train if we didn't rush. We found out our train wasn't 605 but 620, so we went up to some newstand sotre and got some energy drinks. And then rushed back downstairs and actually ran down the down-escalator, which was fun. We go on and sorta napped on the train. Easy ride home. Got a nice text on the train, guess who wants to see me again?

But it's not over. We got back and picked up Sean and dropped by my house for the laptop. We also dropped by at KFC for some grub. So yeah, as usual, we hung out at Scott's house for some time. I chatted Jess up on AIM, we're hitting it off really well.

We decided randomly to go for a walk. It went pretty well, towards the end we had existential/religious arguments which is always fun because we all have the same mindset anyway. So when we got back we had to take Sean home. After that it's just been us chilling downstairs some more, where I'm writing this entry right now.

So, I gotta say this went really well. I really like this Jess girl and she likes me back, and I'll be visiting her again tomorrow. Sweet deal.

So I started watching Doctor Who since it's available on Netflix, I've been watching with my dad and he's not interested in every episode so I had to skip a few. Anyway, I needed a new show, Scrubs is sucking hard since they moved to ABC. Man it's awesome, it re-awakened the sci-fi lover in me. So far I watched a bit of the first season and most of the second. I just saw the finale of season 2 and nearly cried. But that's because I'm a girly-man and stuff. Anyway, who else in my flist watches this?

Funnest Night at D&B

Me | Cartoon
Yeah this actually happened a week ago, but hey, I'm writing about it!

Me, Scott, Sean, and Scotty went to D&B. Here's a recap of the evening.

As per tradition we jammed out to VIC's "Get Silly!" and Playaz Circle's "Duffle Bag Boy" with some extra heavy subwoof. We got bonus point when rolling through the ipod and Bohemian Rhapsody came on. Yes, no matter how gangster our tastes go we can still manage to be very, very white.

We parked on the top floor of the parking garage just for shits. Then we began our incredibly short trek to Dave and Buster's. No nothing interesting happened during that, why do you ask?

We did play a few games in the game room. First off, we like to challenge each other by playing that "Daytona" game that's at EVERY arcade. You know, 8 players, you have to sync up? It has become our goal to play the hard race track and race in manual against each other, and not only do that but actually have one of us FINISH the race for once. We always end with whoever's in first but we never finish the race. Some day we will, hopefully soon. I actually came in first once, that was exciting. The other game we played was a bit of Ghost Squad, which is one of the best light-gun shooters in an arcade ever. Go ahead, look it up! I decided to be a jackass this time around and gave my character a Rambo outfit and armed him with only a pistol.

More fun occured after the gaming session. We got a pool table. Many fun things happened at this point. First off, I was done being a douchebag, so when we ordered drinks, I decided to up the ante. I ordered an O'Douls (for those few who don't know, it's a non-alcoholic beer). For the next 30 minutes of gaming there were drinking jokes thrown left and right at my expense. And it was awesome.

I also managed to scratch on the eight ball shoot, forfeiting my team. I proceeded to shout YEEEAAHH! then told everyone it's time to "teabag in the middle" (but that's a Halo joke, we didn't really do that).

Best part occurred later. We were hungry and asked for a menu but the food was overpriced so we decided against it. There were these girls with a private party next to us. One of them approached us and told us this: "Hey do you guys want some food? We were supposed to have a party of 40 but only 6 showed up!" We said yes, but we didn't believe that actually happened, so we asked again. They confirmed it. So then we loaded up on the offerings, Chicken Fingers, Mini-Burgers, and Mini-Pizzas with additional chips and dip. I overloaded on chicken fingers and felt like I had bad heartburn. So after all that fun we paid for our hour of pool and left. We had drinks waiting for us in the car, which is good because we had finished all of our drinks at D&B and were parched from gorging on free food.

So then one by one Scott dropped us all off at our houses, and thus ended a terrific night out.

The order of business the past few weeks has left me either hanging out with Scott here in Woonsocket, or driving up to Stoughton to hang with Jerry and company. It's been fun, and I'm going to keep it up. These are the friends I've always wanted.

While at Scott's, we've:
-Beaten Halo 3 Legendary on Co-op with him for most of the levels except one. And played some matchmaking hardcore.
-Watched/Played NHL 09.
-Went to Ponderossa and/or BK for epic food.
-Powerslide in the snow.
-Fixed my car.
-Played Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 again for the first time in a while.
-Visited Nicolle at her job.

While at Jerry's, we've:
-Built a fort out of blankets and chairs. Seriously.
-Watched "Step Brothers". Twice.
-Jammed on Keyboard.
-Played Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
-Played Mario Kart.
-Talked to everyone.
-Cooked ate food including Lindsay's Famous Sprinkle Pancakes.
-Brought delicious chips every time I go there.
-Drove around.
-Partied hard.
-Partied not-so-hard.
-Generally chilled out.
